SISTA began when our founder, July, moved from China to Bali with her partner from France. While living at a home away from home, Dumplings became her way of sharing something familiar—the comfort of home, the care of making food by hand, and the joy of gathering people around a table.

Together with our local team, she began a journey of learning, experimenting, and creating. We respect traditional dumpling craftsmanship, but we are never afraid to play with new flavours, fresh ideas, and inspiration from Bali and beyond. That youthful curiosity has shaped SISTA from our first home in Berawa to our next chapter in Uluwatu with its own community.

We still make our fillings, sauces, and key ingredients from scratch. And we are still learning and evolving together—rooted in Chinese tradition, shaped by Bali, and made to the world
